PODIM is an Alpe-Adria region conference!

The PODIM 2015 conference is tailor-made for all innovative and start-up entrepreneurship enthusiasts from the Alpe-Adria region.

Rapid progress
In the past two decades, the Alpe-Adria region, encompassing Slovenia, Austrian Carinthia and Styria, and the Italian regions of Friuli-Venezia Giulia and Veneta, has made rapid progress in the field of start-up entrepreneurship and innovativeness.

A link between western, eastern, northern and southern Europe
This region doesn’t only have a highly educated workforce, excellent engineers and global focus, but also a unique geographical position, from the geographic as well as demographic aspect. The Alpe-Adria region is a link between western, eastern, northern and southern Europe, and it has everything – from fresh mountain climates in the Alps to pleasant Mediterranean temperatures beside the Adriatic Sea.

An ideal region for life and work…
The Alpe-Adria region is ideal for life and work. The quality of life, interpersonal relations and food is incredible, which is shown time and time again when national and international entrepreneurial talents choose the region to be their home and the whole world to be their place of business.

…and one of the most attractive regions for entrepreneurs
The shared vision of the PODIM conference organisers is to make Alpe-Adria region into one of the most attractive regions for entrepreneurs from all over the world. We will achieve this by further strengthening collaborations between countries (Slovenia, Italy, Austria, Hungary, Croatia, Serbia …) in the field of entrepreneurship, and by actively encouraging the development of the start-up ecosystem.
